Short Description
Embarking on a two-day cycling odyssey from Lincoln to Penrith, I embarked on a journey through England’s picturesque countryside. Day one saw me traversing quaint villages like Market Rasen and exploring historic gems such as Gainsborough Old Hall. Day two brought me through the rugged beauty of the Peak District National Park, passing through charming villages like Castleton. As I neared Penrith, the landscape transformed into the rolling hills of Cumbria, offering breathtaking views of Ullswater. Finally reaching Penrith, I was greeted by its quaint streets and the medieval ruins of Penrith Castle, capping off a memorable adventure through England’s heartland.
