This 3-day cycling tour from Freiburg links the Rhine plain, Alsace and the Vosges into a compact loop with plenty of variety in a short distance. The route crosses into France via Breisach, passes Neuf-Brisach and Colmar, climbs through the wine villages at the edge of the Vosges, continues to Munster, then crosses Platzerwasel and Markstein to Thann before returning via Hartmannswillerkopf, Col Amic and the Rhine plain to Freiburg.
